Okay Lil’ Romie, we get it…you’re Master P’s son. You understand the value of a buck and you’re not above embarrassing yourself to get it. But unlike your dad’s iconically embarrassing “dawn of bad photoshop” album covers in the late-90′s/early-00′s, you’re rapping for ICDC, which appears to be some sort of online community college. Fair enough…

…but wait, everyone knows you went to USC. You were even on the basketball team

Okay, so you left USC. We will suspend disbelief and accept that you are an ICDC “success story”. That still leaves no excuse for your awkward rap-jingle at the end of this, which might serve as the most unintentionally funny promotion of the past two decades. If you’ve read this far, do yourself a favor and check it out at the 0:46 mark in the video above!

Nostalgia for Infinity‘s Shaun CG has fun on his mind, jamming The Bombpops before heading out for a proper, British New Year’s celebration:

“The band has played alongside notorious outfits like Bad Religion, the Adolescents, Strung Out and the Queers among others, and it’s a neat fit for them: it’s as if the 1990s never went away. It’s a backward-looking EP, sure, and could’ve come out any time in the last fifteen or twenty years (bar the production, which is as polished yet unobtrusive as you might hope), but it’s fun. Fun! We all remember fun!”

Plugging directly into the rush of energy and adrenaline that is The Bombpop’s excellent Red Scare EP, ‘Stole the TV’, Alexa from Buzzlegoose says, “I felt like I had just been fed Red Bull (or speed).”

She goes on to praise the rhythm section with such exemplary praise as:

“The drumming in this EP, Stole The TV, is so tight it’s just perfection.”

Well, I gotta’ say, even if Hannah “The Bear” of Idle & the Bear, one of our favorite review sites, wasn’t one of our favorites already, she’d sure be getting warmer with words like this:

Okay, so pardon me if I think that Mike Epps (better known as “Day Day” –as lampooned in this video– in ‘Next Friday’ and subsequent sequels of not much note other than still being better Ice Cube vehicles than the ‘Are We There Yet’ series) funniest career move so far has been his not-meant-to-be-entirely-humorous music career. Bottom line, this video is a must see for unintentional humor:

Word on the street is that my man is on tour right now. I wonder if I can call up the Janky Promoters over at Bermuda Mohawk Productions and see if we can’t get him to Lansing?

The conference room next to my cubical has a thermostat that has been hissing air for over two weeks…and even though I keep telling our building manager it’s broken he isn’t doing anything about it. Needless to say the sound is driving me up the wall….making me want to club a small baby seal. Until I saw this video. The best little dancing guy ever.

There really isn’t much I love in life more than people who talk kinda oddly (and N Cage). Just little things…I have a friend who says button strangely, another who says anything with “ou” in an odd way, I even dated a guy in high school because he had a lisp…that turned out to be fake (we won’t go there). SO perhaps that’s the reason I fell in love with Strong Bad? I spent the entire day today watching Teen Girl Squad and Strong Bad emails…so I present to you this little gem.
